Chicken Sandwich (With a Kick!)


  • Ingredients:
    • 2 ciabattas
    • 1/4 cup pesto
    • 4 romaine lettuce leaves
    • 1 tomato, sliced
    • 1 avocado, diced
    • around 10 pickled jalapeño slices
    • cheese – I used mozzarella in my video, but I recommend pepper jack if you have it!
    • 3 chicken thighs
    • salt and pepper
    • red pepper flakes
    • dried basil
    • garlic powder

  • Recipe:
    • season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, basil, and garlic powder
    • put it in the air fryer at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway
    • meanwhile, get all the vegetables ready – slice the tomatoes, dice the avocados, clean the lettuce
    • chop the jalapeño slices and mix it with the avocado
    • slice open the ciabatta and toast it in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 2-3 minutes, depending on how toasty you want it
    • slather the insides of both the top and bottom slice with pesto
    • layer up the romaine, avocado/jalapeño, tomato – sprinkle your tomato with salt and pepper! It is a game changer
    • when the chicken is done, slice it up and put it on top of the other bread slice and put cheese
    • toast it in the air fryer at 350 degrees for 1-2 minutes for the cheese to melt
    • sandwich the breads together with all the toppings inside and enjoy!
