
- Ingredients:
- 2 ciabattas
- 1/4 cup pesto
- 4 romaine lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 avocado, diced
- around 10 pickled jalapeño slices
- cheese – I used mozzarella in my video, but I recommend pepper jack if you have it!
- 3 chicken thighs
- salt and pepper
- red pepper flakes
- dried basil
- garlic powder
- Recipe:
- season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, basil, and garlic powder
- put it in the air fryer at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway
- meanwhile, get all the vegetables ready – slice the tomatoes, dice the avocados, clean the lettuce
- chop the jalapeño slices and mix it with the avocado
- slice open the ciabatta and toast it in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 2-3 minutes, depending on how toasty you want it
- slather the insides of both the top and bottom slice with pesto
- layer up the romaine, avocado/jalapeño, tomato – sprinkle your tomato with salt and pepper! It is a game changer
- when the chicken is done, slice it up and put it on top of the other bread slice and put cheese
- toast it in the air fryer at 350 degrees for 1-2 minutes for the cheese to melt
- sandwich the breads together with all the toppings inside and enjoy!
