Roasted Cauliflower with Hummus


  • Ingredients:
    • 1 pack of hummus
  • Cauliflower Ingredients:
    • 1 head of cauliflower
    • 2 teaspoons paprika
    • 1 teaspoon chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • Garlic Butter Ingredients:
    • 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
    • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 1/2 Tablespoon sesame seeds
    • 1/2 teaspoon honey
    • 1 Tablespoon parsley, chopped
    • 1 Tablespoon cilantro, chopped

  • Cauliflower Recipe:
    • separate the cauliflower florets into one-bite chunks
    • mix it with the rest of the ingredients until each cauliflower is evenly coated
    • spread it out on a baking pan lined with parchment paper
    • bake in an oven preheated to 425 degrees F for 30 minutes – take it out after about 20 minutes to give it a toss and put it back in the oven
  • Garlic Butter Recipe:
    • in a small saucepan, heat the butter on medium-low heat to melt
    • add the garlic and stir around for about 30 seconds to a minute to fully cook the garlic
    • add the rest of the ingredients and turn of heat
    • mix it to fully incorporate all the aromas into the butter
  • Recipe:
    • spread the whole tub of hummus onto a serving plate
    • place the cauliflower all over the top – you can pile it high
    • scoop out the solids in the garlic butter and drop it all over the cauliflower
    • then drizzle some of the leftover butter all around
    • serve!
